I'm up on the tightwireputting on a show for you to see
This old song by Leon Russell describes the great balancing act of life. It is a circus game at times, that’s for sure. One I get tired of playing; but one that is as much a part of life as breathing. Can there be good with out evil; can there be happy with out sad; can the scale be tipped one way with out tipping the other from time to time. That is the question I have often asked. It seems if one thing goes right in my life another goes bad. So I jump back on the tightrope put on my top hat and balance on the thin wire of faith once more. Praying it all works out and I don’t fall for all to see.
How can you and I stand walking such a thin line at times? The only thing I can tell you or advise I could offer is this. So far in my life due to faith or luck (depending on your believes) I have seen more good than evil, had more happy than sad and the scale of life has been kind so far. Is that true for you? Well it depends on your out look or attitude and how you chose to walk the tightwire. Some only see bad; when good is all around them. So are you to blind to see? That is a question only you can answer. We each walk our own wire, how you balance on it is up to you and who you depend on to pick you up when you fall, to one side or the other.
